Orgasms 101
Apr 06, 2023It’s helpful to understand how our bodies work and function. For example, there are different types of orgasms, so when you experience an unfamiliar one, you’ll realize there is nothing wrong with your body.
The average female orgasm lasts 20 seconds. That’s 14 seconds more than a male. You might have multiple orgasms and unigasm (singular), and you can have multiple orgasms right after the other. They may have different intensity levels and need time to recuperate before another occurs. Everyone is different, and the key is to find out what your body is capable of and build on it. Where you begin is not necessarily where you will end up!
UniGasm (Singular)
Stimulation is directed to one primary erogenous zone:
The Penis, prostate, testicles, clitoris, G-spot, anus, or nipples
UniGasm is common during masturbation.
BiGasm
More intense than a UniGasm. Stimulating two erogenous zones simultaneously:
- Testicles & Penis
- Clitoris & Anus
- Nipples & Clitoris
- Prostate & Penis
Have fun experimenting with different combinations on your lover’s body
TriGasm
Female
A female TriGasm is the result of arousing 3 points of pleasure, the clitoris, G-spot, and anus, simultaneously.
Male
The TriGasm for Men is also the result of stimulating 3 points of pleasure, the penis, the testicles, and the anus, simultaneously.
Blended Orgasm
Interchange stimulating two erogenous zones by stimulating one and then the other, then returning to the first. Keep repeating and play.
Mind Over Body Orgasm
You can think your way to orgasm. Visuals of people having sex can automatically
trigger your body into a state of arousal. Attending to all 5 of your senses can help you achieve orgasm even without touching yourself.
Multiple Orgasm
A series of orgasms occur within a few seconds of each other without ever returning to a relaxed period and going through the entire arousal pattern.
Exercise Orgasm
When you engage in an exercise and start feeling excited while continuing to do this exercise, you orgasm.
Have you found your G-spot?
It’s essential to explore this orgasm; you might need some extra pointers.
The G-spot can be found about halfway between the back of the pubic bone and the front of the cervix, along the path of the urethra.
- It is also close to the neck of the bladder, where it connects with the urethra.
- The size and exact position varies from woman to woman, depending upon her dimensions.
- If you can imagine a clock inside the vagina with 12 o’clock pointed towards the navel, you’ll find that most women will have the G-spot placed between 11 and 1 o’clock, one to three inches inside the vagina.
The G-spot is likely:
(1) a bundle of nerves coming from the clitoris,
(2) a gland or series of glands that produces lubrication.
(3) The absence of the Y chromosome in the developing female fetus
deposits the cells in a similar location analogous to the prostate gland
in men.
G-spot Facts
When it is first touched, many women reply that it feels like they need to urinate, even if the bladder has just emptied.
- Women have reported that they have difficulty locating and stimulating the sacred spot by themselves—with fingers only.
- Some are able to locate the G-spot while squatting or kneeling.
Some women find it helpful to apply a downward pressure on the abdomen with
their other hand, just above the pubic bone or top of the pubic hairline.
- The best way to explore your G-spot is with your finger or a G-spot vibrator
The Orgasm Pleasure Scale is a way to prolong and heighten the orgasm.
Imagine you have a personal pleasure scale ranging from number 1 to 10, with 1 being the minimum amount of arousal you can feel and 10 being the point of no return – orgasm!
- It’s a good idea for everyone to recognize each level of arousal so they become familiar with how their body functions.
- Take the time to create your personal pleasure scale and help your partner do the same.
Your mission is to have as many of these types of orgasms as possible and have some fun!
