pelvic floor dysfunction

Lately, I’ve been conversing about pelvic floor dysfunction. I’m surprised at the number of people who don’t know this type of physical therapy is available. So I thought a blog post would help open the door for solutions.

Your pelvic floor muscles support your bladder, urethra, vagina, uterus, bowel (large intestine), rectum, and anus. Squeeze and relax to control when you pee, poop, or pass gas and help with blood flow and vaginal contractions during sex and orgasm.

How do you know if you have pelvic floor dysfunction?

  • Urinary leakage.
  • Inability to achieve vaginal insertion
  • Painful sex
  • Fecal leakage
  • Constipation
  • Prolapse
  • Frequent urination
  • Painful sex
  • Childbirth
  • Sexual abuse and trauma and more

Pelvic floor dysfunction can impact anyone (any gender and age) as young as childhood.

While  PFD is as common as 1 in 3, many people suffer not knowing what to do and whom to seek for help.

There is help for you. Find yourself a Pelvic Floor Therapist and transform your sex life through breath work, pelvic floor exercises, and guided self-internal vaginal release.
